Covid you know... & shoulder shrug
Covid is now a nice scapegoat for everything.

This was a difficult blog to find the right picture for. If we use a black person it seems we are blaming them for the problems. If we use a white person it seems racists doing the blaming.

The problem is... we are all suffering from the lack of productivity and using Covid as a scapegoat to get away with the wrong actions. White, Black, Coloured, Indian, everyone is suffering from the shoulder shrug.

No matter where we currently turn for assistance the answer is... Covid you know... & a shoulder shrug.

That is not good enough. If we need police clearance, the system should be working. If we need to renew our professional membership, the system should be working. If we need educational assistance, the system should be working. If we need organisational assistance, the system should be working. If we need to find counseling support or medical assistance, the system should be working.

This is a rant, because of the frustrations we have experienced over the past couple of months with shoulder shrugs and no-care attitudes in most government departments. Not ALL, but most, especially the ones we needed the most to be able to stay operational, get help for our learners or be able to move forward in this trying time.

We keep to the rules - that seems to be changed on us daily - but we are not getting the same respect back.

Maybe Covid is just a magnifying glass showing the lack of respect for the country's citizens and small entrepreneurs that has always existed.

It is a shame. Those who are practicing these disgusting attitudes should be ashamed.
